I need help with my wifes Court documents

Hi Everyone,
I am hoping someone can help here. It's not my debt but my wife is getting some serious grief about a phone bill
First off she did the usual ignored it etc. The situation is that It has been sold to a debt collection companies to collect but have independantly hired a solicitor to issue a county court claim.
Now that they have added costs etc the bill is just shy of £1000.
I immediatly got on the phone and offered a F&F of 40%. My wife has less than £500 per month, before she has to pay her bills, etc including her car. This leaves her with like £15 a month spare.
The problem is that all the parties wanting money wont make a decision. In the meantime I have the court papers to fill in.
No one is getting back to us or talking to us about it!:mad:
They could have £400 tomorrow if they sorted it. If they want it over 8 years, well thats fine.

I would have thought that they would unlikely to accept a reduced F&F, since they can get the court to enforce the full amount.
Have a look at the link, it gives you info on what to do http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/ManagingDebt/CourtClaimsAndBankruptcy/DG_10013083
Whether you admit or defend you should reply to the court in time.#
If you should admit then put in an income/expenditure to show that your wife can only pay in installments.
If the CCJ is granted and you can pay it off within a month, the CCJ will be wiped from her file.0 -
They will now the form has been filled go for the balance.0
