DMP mortgage

Hi
Just a bit of advice please??
I'm currently 1 year into a 5 year DMP. My wife has a very good credit record and file and we're currently not financially linked. I do though earn a good wage. She currently has a mortgage on the place we live together at (I pay her rent) but we'd like to move on to a bigger place.
Is at all possible for us to get a mortgage together and use my wage to improve the amount we can get or is that definitely a nogo until the DMP is over?
Thanks in advance

We are coming to the end of our DMP with 3 payments left and tried to remortgage and it was a def no go and they will also not touch us for 6 months after the DMP has finished. After this time we must provide bank statements to show that we can manage money and stick to a budget (haven't we been doing that for the past 6 years:cool:) and they MAY reconsider.:j DEBT FREE FROM 01/01/11 :j
