In Michelin Dundee's car park today until half past four this afternoon, FREE tyre pressure check, nice fancy stainless steel keyring, tread depth gauge and a booklet on how to look after your tyres.Open to members of the public too, not just employees.

I work in Michelin so am pretty good at remembering to check my tyres - used Sainsbury's garage last week to pump them up to 33psi, the fill up with air team found them at 30psi, the guy heading up the team was not surprised - but a 10% error is more than I would have expected from a supermarket pump.:o

Hope this helps someone - wrongly inflated tyres cost money in fuel, excess / early wear, but above all and aren't as safe as properly inflated tyres.:)

Is the keyring bibendum?? My dad used to work there many many moons ago and my 1st car he bought me had a bib keyring, after 12 years i need a replacment :) He is obsessive about tyre pressures. I wonder if he has nipped along, he usually does at these things to speak to people he used to work with.
