Am after a tow bar for a Clio, have been quoted £220 by Halfords to the non electric one ! Ok typical girlie... do they really cost that much ?!?!
There's some on Ebay, just wondering whether there are any other recommendations out there ? Thx

I always think Halfords is a rip off. My car manufacturers official dealership was cheaper for something I wanted than Halfrauds. You could try yours.
http://www.motor-world.co.uk/ I know is a place like Halfords, Try your local if you have one.
I have found some names of towbar manufactures you could contact them to see if they have a stockist/fitter near you. Or Google their name for online retailers if you want to buy online.
Witter towbars, they have a National Stockists search on their website

have you asked at your local caravan & camping stores ?
We got ours from a reccomendation from the camping
shop we use,as other customers reccomended them as a
good place to use,he was a local independant trader
it was £150 with the electric fittings also included
the fitting charge,.We could either take it in,or he
could come out to us,we chose to have him fit it at home.
We have a Nissan Primera. He did a really good job,but
then Halfords is really dear for some things.
Also try caravan dealers they may be able to
give you some names as well or your local garage.0 -
Not thought if that ! Thanks cabra1
Will investigate local camping shops too !

I`ve always found towsure to be the best and cheapest.£48 if your clio is pre 1998 or £102 if its a later model..........link here
