Very old CCJs

How can one find records of CCJs which are older than 6 years?
My current search is clean, but there might be something older I don't know about as I had, via a temporary UK address, a "trace this person" (me!) letter from a collection agency.
Any debts would be around 8/9 years old: unless CCJs were issued these would be time expired, but I have no way of knowing about old CCJs as I have lived abroad for nearly 10 years

Trustonline, They hold all the records and if one has ever existed for you it should be on here - http://www.trustonline.org.uk/
I think its £8 to search it if i remember.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
But surely only records there are going back 6 years, like the credit agencies?
That's where I searched & came up clean, by the way.0 -
I believe the search is done per address, but it should show them forever not just the last 6 years
So have you checked all address that they could have taken a CCJ out at?
i.e. Previous address(es).
Another thing to consider is if its over 6 years old and the CCJ has not been used, it becomes inactive and a creditor had to goto court to reactive it. If they dont give a good reason and simply did not use it due to been lazy it won't be granted anyway.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Only the one address is relevant and that is the one I searched, both for CCJs & High Court Orders. (£16 for the two)
I have had no contact from any of the possible creditors for 8+ years or so, after the address I gave the Post Office for 12 months of re-directed mail was no longer available to me, so I guess any further correspondence would have gone to the great Post Office in the sky - aka - the bin.0 -
Your debt may be 8 years old but if they got a CCJ when the debt was 5 years old it will hit your file until 6 years after the CCJ was issued.0
