Hello, was wondering if someone could help me. We bought some gorgeous hot choc from Whittards when they had a 20% sale but now its gone back to £5 a tub and i refuse to pay that. Was wondering if anyone had come across another hot choc that was as nice as you'd find in a coffee shop for less then £5! I have tried options hot choc and it was ok, but obviously not the same. Thanks!

You could try making your own by grating a bar of your favourite chocolate (dark, milk, white or a mix!) and whisking into hot milk. Yum!:j
You could also add your own flavouring (coffee, liqueur, vanilla extract, nutmeg) - there are loads of possible combinations!

As Gillby1 suggests is definately by far the best hot choc
Whittards is obviously a premium brand so it may be worth tryin Tesco Finest, Morrisons Extra Special etc etc etc but TBH probably wont be as good but you never know...................."You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0 -
Green & Blacks - yummy!0

According to their website all their hot chocs appear to be 3 for £13. Quidco also does 10% cashback.
As others have said though there is nothing magical about good hot chocolate. If you start with good cocoa powder and sugar or a good quality grated chocolate you can't go far wrong.0 -

I get mine from sainsburys, I think it's clipper. It's in a dark brown jar with a black label with silver writing, it's gorgeous! Mix the powder with a little milk to create a paste first then pour on the boiling water. It's fairtrade too which is good. Enjoy!!0

My wife is a Hot Chocolate connoisseur as she doesn't drink coffee or tea so it's the only Hot drink she has. We have been through most brands and the best I'm afraid in her opinion seem to be Wittards or Green and Blacks neither are cheap but personally I would rather have less of a good thing that lots of something that isn't any good. They frequently have offers so we wait for wittards offers then stock up. I personally am a Fan of the Cinnamon hot chocolate
As others have said at the moment wittards have 3 for £13 online

Not a huge saving but still a saving.
The other thing is Wittards have quite a few outlet shops around the country so always worth visiting when your near the area as youi can pick up some good offers.0 -
My daughter likes the Aero one as it comes out all frothy0
