Housing & Bankruptcy.

I am 67 and my wife is 61. We both work full time but my wife has to retire at 65. Our present home is tied to my wife's job so we will have to find somewhere else to live in less than 4 year's time.
I declared bankruptcy nearly 3 years ago and I will cease making payments towards it in December this year.
Has anyone here any suggestions as to how I could go about rehousing my wife and I in the near future?
I have no objection to a mobile (park) home but I could not afford one cash outright and, obviously, I could not get a loan.
I really need to sort something out before it becomes an emergency!

just bumping your question up the board x0

why dont you register with your local council for a home and housing associations as they always have a long waiting list normally a few years so hopefully you would get one in time.0

my heart goes out to you feargals dad , i too am in the same position, although in my late 40s i have just contacted by council and HA and all say in the bedfordshire area a 10year waiting list.
Hope its not that bad for you in your area.
