WHSmiths £5 off books

Options
Speech-Mark-Left.gifOfficial insert

What's the deal?

WHSmith is giving away vouchers worth £5 off a £10 in store book spend (one book only). To get a voucher simply buy anything in store; there’s no minimum spend so a pack of chewing gum counts. Look for them on the counter.

When are they valid?

The vouchers are available in store until the 30 September and they are valid for purchases made between 1 and 14 October.

Don't think this has been posted :)

The £5 off vouchers are back on the counters again.

Valid from 1st to 14th October inclusive, £10 min spend (on one book only), one voucher per transaction.

Seeing as they're starting to get the Christmas range out, it's a good chance to get some (up to) half-price pressies

    Instore only. :)
  • Do you just pick the vouchers up or do you have to spend a certain amount to get one?
  • They were just in a pile on the counter at my store, and the assistant didn't say anything when I put a couple in my bag with the newspaper I'd just bought, so I assume there's no minimum purchase, and that you can probably just pick them up.

  • I just helped myself to some.
  • They have strange policies with their vouchers don't they?! Some stores only give them out with "Qualifying" spends and others just give them to anyone. We have to WHSmiths in Torquay and only one stocks books. The one that stocks books tends to only give out the book vouchers if you buy a book whereas you can just walk down to the other WHSmiths and pick one up of the counter!
:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A

What happens if the book it £9.99 can you buy pack of chewing gum with it to take the total over the £10
  • Afraid not Jawa1 - it has to be one single book valued at £10 or more according to the terms, nothing else
