All these deals were in the Reading, Napier Rd store today. Plus a three ring paddle pool 50p from £3, wooden sand pit £9.50 from over £20, plastic wagon filled with water / sand toys £2 from £8... basically all the summery outdoorsey stuff was heavily discounted.

I also got boys summer sandals for £1.60 down from £6, perfect if your child has grown out of their summer shoes but you dont want to shell out loads for sandals they are only going to wear for another couple of weeks. This was not marked on the shelves just found out at checkout.

Not an amazing bargain, but the Monopoly Deal card game is reduced from £4.50 to £2.75 and a really great card game. Its in the toys section but I'd say its more appropriate for 10-12+ as its quite complicated!

you ought to try gatwick tesco extra, just back from there now with a trolleyload of toys (oops)
(didn't buy all of the stuff listed below but trying to recall as much as i can to help others out...)

thomas train & cranky tents playset £10 (previosuly around £40)
various tailball sets including backpack which was £32.50 £3-£9 (usually £10-£30)
    monopoly electronic banking £6.45
    cluedo £7
    cranium refresh £12
    articulate £14
waybulloo land of nara set £7.50 (think this was originally around the £40 mark!)
    bestway pool £22.50
    pictureka flipper £4.99
ben 10 ultimate alien maker £9.50 (was originally also about £40)
loads of peppa pig character playsets for about £3 upstairs by the clothing desk
huge variety of large shooting missile nerf typs things for £3.20 were previously abour £16 (in seasonal aisle)
some in the toy section upstairs, some in the seasonal aisle downstairs, not all with yellow sels so probably more stuff i didn't spot but my trolley was getting full

oh and also a very smart omega outback bbq for £32 by the front door which i am sure was a least twice that a couple of weeks ago...

now i have to take back some of the other stuff i bought last week from boots (blush) as i have too many christmas pressies for my son!!!
  • Just to add to the list I managed to get a "Garston" ladybird (Ben and Holly) from Tescos SEL was £5.50 paid £2.00 - these are usually about £10 I think.

Picked up a "Funny Faces Hopper" (similar to Space Hopper) from Brownhills store today reduced from £4.00 to £2.00. (OK, so not that expensive in the first place, but as Mr T says, "every little helps":)
