    What a constructive comment!

Not a bad price, especially if they are as new condition, might be worth an e-mail!

£250 saving.... not be sniffed at if you’re in the market for one nice tv.

Have Philips improved their sets yet with regards to the problems with the power switch on various crt sets in the past that failed, even when the switch was never used as the user would always leave it in standby using the remote.
I knew a few people that had this problem and many of others on a forum.
This may not apply to their lcd sets but I'm in the market for an lcd and have put Philips to one side based on the above.

Had no problems at all, don't leave it in standby, always use the switch (tiny and on the side) to switch off. :hello:

  • Love this forum, the comments are brilliant. When someone doesnt like what they see the comments are really crude. Then you get someone jumping in to defend the op, fantastic. I think its a good deal, Hd ready 37 inch, not 32...size does matter SOMETIMES..so im told...Anyway, thought this was a money saving forum, so £250 saving...not to be sniffed at in my opinion

I was referring to crt's, lcd's as a comparison. I know how to turn a tv off :rolleyes2
  • I have the 42" and its a great telly, the savacentre price is amazing. My telly died and Currys gave me a voucher but I had to pay another £500 on top to get it. I was tied to currys prices unfortately.
