Cheap things for student houses

Hi just been to Asda (Hulme) and bought

4 x plates / 4 x bowls / 4 x saucers for £4
4 x mugs for £1
16 piece cutlery set for £1.70 (ish... was deffo under £2)
3 x energy saving lightbulbs 11 watt for £2
2 x Fitted bedsheets for £9 (http://direct.asda.com/Sheets-Pillowcases/2103,default,sc.html)
3 x Tea towels for 97p
Can't find most of this online so I'm hoping its not store specific

There was quite a bit of other stuff in there

I was in the range the other day and they had 3 energy saving light bulbs for only 25p!

Failing that B&Q had them for 10p each on a special offer the other day. Both these offers were for the light bulbs that supposedly last for 10 years!

Thanks OP. No Asda near me unfortunately but I took a look at their website instead and bought a pedal bin and laundry bag for just £5 each. Shame about the £5 delivery on top but never mind, I've been needing both for a while now :j
