Hi
About 4/5 years ago I got a loan via 'Virgin' whose associate was MBNA, at the time I was living at a differant address I am now. when I moved I informed everyone of the change of address,I have moved a total of 3 times since then and thought it strange how this company failed to contact me the 1st time I moved, either way they MBNA/Virgin defaulted the account which as bout £1400 to repay. Earlier this year, May/June I think this account disappeared and I thought how lucky I was as the default was removed. To my dismay on Friday I receive a letter stating that I should contact a number and discuss this account. I haven't paid to this account for over 3 years and I have no record of the agreement made in regards to this loan.
So I am looking for some advice prior to me contacting this company, can any of you help me?

It is still approx 1400, but I haven't any spare money to repay it at the moment so I don't really want to contact them. All the letter says is:
'We have recently obtained confirmation that you are a resident at the above address. We need to talk to your about your account and would recommend that you contact us. We look forward to your call.'
So you think I should ignore it until I can make repayments?"I AM THE GATEKEEPER OF MY OWN DESTINY" Nacho Libre
