I would just like to clarify that even though I put the post on the board, when I applied for the freebie I also got the message saying "Thank you for for requesting a free sample. Because you are already registered as a tesco.com customer, we already have your personal details."

I just assumed that because I was a tesco.com customer that there had been a cookie on my machine that it had accessed my information from.

I didn't receive this freebie from an e.mail but found it on the internet.

Sorry, but after reading all the posts it does seem that this freebie is not so freebie afterall.

There is a way around this. Just sign up to tesco online at https://www.tesco.com (costs nothing). Then goto https://www.tesco.com/access and login to your account. Click amend personal details. Then right click e-mail customer services in the paragraph of text and copy shortcut. This will include your customer ID ;D Paste into notepad and then cut the ID from there (8 digit number)
Then change this url by replacing placeyouridhere is with your actual id.
