popped into my local store today...next to nothing left *but* I picked up a pair of shoes for £5...not hugely special, except they were a size 9 wide fit, and fitted me *perfectly*. I never knew M&S did size 9! Every time I asked in the past they said no! I suspect the range may well be very, very limited, but it's worth knowing about
. Made my day, that!

I went to another M&S today had nothing at first so was dissapointed but then the lady from the fitting room kept bringing the odd good thing out so managed to get a few things. Went food shopping and came back again and she had just bought out a rail of sale clothes most Per Una and Autograph so ended up buying lots more :T
Everything was £3 in this M&S, added everything up and I've got £635 worth of things for only £62.00

Hi all!
Went to Brighton store today and there were a few rails etc - nothing amazing! However, there were loads of shoes left for 5 pounds each. This was at about 1pm today! (in all different sizes)

Just wanted to say thanks so much to the OP and others who posted - decided to take a chance and go to my local this morning - not much left, but managed to get over £250 worth of stuff for less than £50.00 - menswear and ladieswear. Just got lucky with sizes etc - main thing was, the prices were much less than the reduced label prices on the goods - they were working from a piece of paper basically telling them if it scanned at, say, 12.00 then charge 5.00 and so on. If anyone manages to find anything left that they like, take it to the till and get them to check the price. Many thanks again. SS.0

Yesterday there was a £1 rail & some boxes of odds & ends at Pontardulais Road, Swansea - found £49.99 trousers for DH & a pair of £45 shoes for me, total cost £2: the joys of being unusual sizes!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
