Cash Finance Direct...?

I recently applied for a loan and was called today by a company called Cash Finance Direct. They said that they had several lenders that they are associated with who would be willing to lend me the amount I need and gave me a reference number and told me to call the processing department on: 09064001858...
I am aware that this is a premium rate number and when I questioned them about this they said that when my phone bill comes through to send it them and they will refund the call.
This all seems like a scam to me to get me to call a £1.50 a min phone number. Has anyone else had dealings with this company?

I've never heard of them but if a company is so keen to refund your phone call charges why would they bother charging them in the first place? They'll probably offer to repay the fee that they charge for pretending to arrange a loan if you send them your bank statement as well.
Don't trust them.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -

Citizens Advice top tips on fake loans:
* Never pay money up front
* Never give out bank account details to cold callers
* Be very wary of cold calls offering loans, and internet sites offering quick and easy credit
* If it looks too good to be true it usually is
* If you need credit, shop around, use a trusted source and always check the paperwork
* If you’ve already paid money up front for a non-existent loan, inform Trading Standards (·https://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk). The Consumer Credit Act says that all but £5 of any brokerage fees should be refunded if no loan is taken up within 6 months.
* If you suspect a scam or fraud, report it to Action Fraud 0300 123 2040, the National Fraud Authority’s reporting line.

Only phone that number if you want to line the pockets of crooks and frausters......."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
