Hi all
Does anyone have a voucher for laser eye surgery ? I know that some people were given some when they went through the treatement so was wondering if anyone has one I can have.
I am looking at Optimax or optical express really as they are the closes to me it looks like. There might be others but google is just spitting out so many that it is getting confusing.
Thank you

Hi Gothicfairy. Where do you live? Have you looked at Accuvision. I went there recently for laser eye surgery and never looked back. I think they are offering £500 off through September.
I found this on their website accuvision.co.uk:
Conditions of the £500 off laser eye surgery offer - Please read carefully
*To be eligible for the £500 saving you must attend a FREE consultation during September 2010 and if found suitable, book for laser eye surgery treatment by 14th October 2010. Surgery should be completed by 15th November 2010. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion and only applies to bi-lateral Wavefront LASIK treatments. It is NOT available to anyone who has already had a consultation at Accuvision or booked for treatment. There is no cash alternative to this offer. Accuvision reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time.0 -
Thanks for that Purple
They are a bit far for me but I will look into how much a train would be as the £500 would help.
I have an appointment with Optical Express ( in my local town) next Thursday so at least I will have an idea about the price range my vision is in anywayThere is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

I did try to search for it but couldn't find it..Hence my post. I was sure that there was something there but maybe I just did not do the search right.
Edit : found it now, thank you. I was looking in the wrong place.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

My friend went with Optimax earlier in the year (very happy with the treatment!) and she got an email from the clinic telling her to forward it to any friends (e.g. me!). The email contained her ID number. All I had to do was quote it when I booked my consultation and if I go ahead with the treatment, I get £500 off the cost and she get's £50 for referring me.
So if you know anyone who's been with Optimax, ask them for their ID number and it's all you need. Good luck!
P.S. My consultation is next Tuesday. If I qualify, I can't have the treatment until Feb 2011 for work reasons but I'm super excited to have made the first step!0
