“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Did you know that kids are more than often bailing out parents now?
Was an article on it not all that long ago. Main reason, was again, house prices. It's caught out the older generation too, especially those who have re-mortgaged.
They find themselves with a house, but no money to live on in retirement.0 -
People will always moan no matter what generation it is.0

interesting article in today's telegraph suggests they have plenty to whine about. those born after 1979 have had things far harder than the baby boomers who fail to see the struggle simply because they don't have to live through it.

Via demographic accident and bloody-minded selfishness, the Baby Boomers have come to monopolise the country's wealth, politics and culture.
They had the decent pensions, the nice houses, the free education and left their children with nothing but debt. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -

Interesting article, but more interesting are the comments at the bottom! There are some real nuggets of people's opinions down there!0
