Action Cancer are running a scheme called "Improve Dont Move". you get an hour consulation with an architect in your home for a £40 donation to action cancer. Seems like a good deal to me for some cheap advice. If you google improvedontmove as one word you can get to the website.
I just read about it in the new Decorate and Improve magazine - they are running some sort of event in the kings hall this month
