Hi folks,
A few months ago we launched our 'Ultimate Mortgage Calculator' and got some really great feedback from the forum - chief among it being 'make it MORE ultimate!'. So we did...
We are hoping to launch this in the coming weeks, so would love anyone with a few minutes to spare to have a play and test it for us. What we really want is feedback on technical glitches, any queries you have with the answers it gives, and any suggestions on making it as easy as possible to use.
It now comprises:
- Basic Mortgage Calculator
- Overpayment Calculator
- Ditch your Fix? calculator
- Compare 2 fixed mortgage deals NEW
- Offset Mortgage vs Savings NEW
- Should I save or repay mortgage? NEW
- How much can I borrow? NEW
To use it just go to this link:

I dont know if its new (doesnt state it) but loving the overpayment calculator and the graphic display (especially the hover over and see how much at that point!)
How much can i borrow, looks good (seems to be inlin with other 'borrow calcs')
Good all round tools for moneysavers. Like the look of it!0 -
Yes it looks pretty good0

Played about with it, seems very useful!!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0

Played with it. It's very useful.
I love the overpayment calculator. It's so brilliant to input what I am overpaying at the moment and get a clear picture of the impact it has over my whole mortgage.
It's even better to play around with the figures and see how I could do even better.
I love the fact it has a graphic display and also states how much you can shave off your mortgage if you overpay.
Great tool. Very clear visually. Easy to understand and easy to use.LBM: August 2006 £12,568.49 - DFD 22nd March 2012

It's okay, not as graphically attractive as the former one but it's obviously got more tabs. Still no facility for splitting a mortgage into part repayment, part interest only though.0

Very useful, especially the overpayment calculator which is the most useful for me personally (just purchased a place and being in a 10 year fixed I'm not going to be changing any time soon). The only thing which could be useful is the ability to have the mortgage details I've filled in on one page to another page, rather than having to re-enter my current mortgage and interest rate several times.0

Yep we are a bit frustrated with this too - it really is quite hard to do and represent in a user-friendly way though. We are carrying on trying
