    Morning roo hope your well

Hmm sad sad news about norman...I remember watching his stuff as a small boy & amazed at his energy!

You're not wrong Phil. Bit before my time, but I always thought he was really funny, talented and a genuinely nice person. x

Me too, i loved watching him. In fact i did'nt realise he was still around, i've never heard any mention of him, for years.

Brucie, was saying on the tv this morning, most of the ' young people ', won't even recognise his name. How sad. It takes me back to rainy sunday afternoons, in winter. Guaranteed to cheer you up.

I expect there will be a film coming along, shortly. He had the funniest face.......

I think he'd been in a retirement home for a while, bless him. But I think he was still "himself" (if you know what I mean) until the end - and his end was quick, without lingering pain.

I'm a bit too young to remember his films with any clarity (I'm "only" in my mid-thirties), but I do remember always laughing at his antics. On the complete box-set of "The Office", there is some footage of the BAFTA 'do' at which the show won an award, where Mr. Wisdom presents an award to Ricky Gervais; it's hilarious! I do remember seeing a clip from a Norman Wisdom film, where he was a policeman and blew his whistle by mistake - really funny, timeless, genius. x

    Mr. Grimsdaaaaaale?! :D

Haha. This morning, they showed him in a cafe eating an ice cream cone, with his nose pressed up to the window, lol

I must admit, its going back so many years, i can't remember what i saw him in, but did'nt he also ' star ' with, was it Jerry Lewis? as duo. The pair of them were hilarious, or maybe i'm getting them mixed up, and dementia is setting in! I'm sure it was Jerry Lewis, thinking about it. He was so funny too. Maybe i'm wrong.
