If.. my day was good thanks, but busy, but i like it like that, as long as i can get all done that i need to without going under, i'm fine and enjoy keeping going.:)

Evening all!

Anyone mind if I have a little rant?! After months of aggravation with AO-Hell, they have FINALLY gone too far. My debit card got declined for a £6 basket in Sainsbury's this afternoon. Bad enough, you may say - but no. Oh no. On arriving home, Roo checks bank account online to find that said Internet "Provider" has, taken - with neither notice nor warning, nor even a reason - £148.91 from the account (despite it only having a balance of £29.19 and no permission for an overdraft 'cos of IVA).



After much swearing and my hidden "in case of emergency-only" fag, I ring the rat-b*st*rd AOL. Hapless Indian call-centre drone denies all knowledge of AOL having taken any money, account is in good standing, nothing on my screen madam, ring us back in 24 hrs. When I demand to speak with someone more senior, I am put on hold.

The "hold music"? The f***ing Nolans and "I'm in the Mood for Dancing". Oh, the irony...

After five minutes of being on hold, I am cut off.

I am going to post the fuller story on the appropriate forum thread and contact the CAB tomorrow.

But for now - to paraphrase the ultimately gallant Captain Oates - "I am just going to my special cupboard and may be some time."

Don't nobody try and stop me.

Oh Roo, that is bang out of order!. I can fully imgaine how bloody furious you are!. Six lousy quid got refused and a whopping almost hundred and fifty smackers got lifted from your account!.. What a barstuard!

I might even join you in a strong one honey, i wont lecture you tonight, you can have anything you want!.....

Awww thanks Roo, i just wish i could do something to help.

Is there any chance that you can get that money back?.. if you dont even know what its for, why have they taken it?.. This is why i hate direct debits, they can just take whatever they want from your account when they have your details, to me it's nothing short of stealing!. I'd chop their slimey damn fingers off if i could!

Anyway, i gotta turn in for the night, try and get some sleep and don't sit up all night looking at the world thru the bottom of those bottles...
