Got one of these last week. It works fine on a set of new batteries, but turn it off and plug in a new cartridge etc and it does not want to start up again unless you put in a new set of batteries.

Anyone else having this problem ? Or were those cheapo Hyundai batteries I got from poundland a false economy ?

personally i wouldn't buy them batteries. i used to have to change them every 3 days in my pc mouse, but if i got a proper battery they lasted 3 weeks. the blue and silver memorex ones in poundland are the best.

Well, they ignored the fact that I said I'd seen the Dora console on sale and just said that the manufacturer is "leaving the pre school market" and bubble is being discontinued at the end of the year. Therefore no more games to be released.

So nothing new to report unfortunately.

Perhaps the manufacturer has sold the rights to another company.

Guess that's possible. I've emailed them back with a link to the Grattan Dora console and asked how come they've got a game that's coming soon then and asked them to confirm that it isn't available to buy without the console. Doubt I'll get much of a response from them though as the last one was only a two liner.

I emailed Bandai and here's what they said about the future games ....
The manufacturers are leaving the pre-school market so will not be
releasing any new games now. We will be discontinuing the Bubble and
games at the end of this year as we will no longer be able to obtain any
more stock I'm afraid.

I have just received my order from the Entertainer. Superfast time as I only ordered it on Saturday. They have sent me the Noddy DVD instead of the Balamory one. When I called the lady told me I could pay £5.95 and keep both DVDs and they would post it for free. I declined the offer and was told that I would need to return the DVD to them - which is fine but they do not have a free post address. They are going to refund me the Noddy DVD when I return it but now I am worried that they will run out of Balamory ones.

This is my second consignment of Bubbbles. I ordered one from Bandai the first time round and as postage was cheaper I ordered this lot from the entertainer. Wish I'd stuck with Bandai.

Hope nobody else has any problems with this.

sill not received mine from amazon. was dispatched on the 6th, emailed them and they said they need to contact parcelnet to confirm it was sent out. no tracking number available for it tho, gonna email them back as it is supposed to be a birthday present for next month.
