Bubbles Console. Was £60.00 now £14.99 (merged)

i don't get it! Why discontinue something which seems very good and popular??? Is there something wrong we should know about it or something? Seems bad for people to pay £60 for something which just disappears after what? a year or so? with limited software to play on it and no hope of any more being made for it! I am not too bothered with the price i paid if no other software is made.. but I feel for the folk who paid so much money for the console and who has paid full price for the software too! Not good in my opinion!

Went into The Entertainer at Thurrock Lakeside today and they had all the DVD's but no console's. They are however due in this Thursday and next week. The young SA was happily taking orders for them. She told me, quite excitedly, they would only be £14.99 as well:p - as if I didn't know! lol

Yes we paid £50+ for it last Christmas and even then that was the best deal around at the time as it was from Makro when they had sales on their toys literally days before christmas. DS has had the one game that came with it since then (Thomas) but thats ok cause hes Thomas daft but i was looking forward to the Dora and Pat ones coming out, now we dont know if they will. I have bought him the Noddy and Balamory ones from Bandai just cause they were cheap, good job i did now or hed be stuck with a pricey toy and just one game for it!

I was looking forward to the new released too, I'm glad I didn't buy this at full price as would have been gutted - dd has the v-tech smile, has had it for a couple of yrs now and the games are readily available for it still, cant see the same for the bubble, i'm disappointed but still happy I suppose for what I paid (even though I did buy 2!!)

I ordered the teletubbies bubble console and a noddy dvd lat night on Amazon and got the email confirmation through but when I went onto Amazon tonight to check my order status there was no order and so I have re-ordered again tonight. Does anybody know much about Amazon as it is the 1 st I have used them? My recent order I placed tonight shows up. I am worried that my son is going to end up without one. Any help much appriciated.

thanks for the post. Just ordered the Bubble with Thomas plus additonal Balamory and Noddy games from Amazon for £24.97! Great value

Even though I've got a fantastic bargain, I'm still miffed as Amazon now have the Balamory one for £14.99, but they didn't before so I ordered from Bandai.Could have saved myself the postage!
Am now seriously thinking of getting all the other games and saving them for god daughter's birthday in March if they are discontinuing it...
