Happily this morning the mystery of if HMRC owed me or I owed them was solved - a nice £768 cheque is now in my handbag ready for taking to the bank when I start dropping off my sealed pot challenge money. I've started bagging it up but ran out of coin bags so will have to get more while I'm paying the first 5 bags in - of course at 5 bags a time it could take quite some time to get it all paid in.
My plan for the HMRC money is to pay off the 2nd credit card so my OU course is totally paid for, and the remaining £200 odd will go on to the MS card, ought to bring the balance down quite considerably.
Of course I now need to actually get up and go out to do two mystery shops, try to get in to the new LA to sort out the paper work for the house and then work to collect my dirty uniforms and a return trip to work to actually do a shift. Joy.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Awesome cheque from HMRC bet it is great to feel that the tax man paid for the OU course.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

It does feel brilliant, the tax man also paid for several cocktails and tickets for the show we saw while we were in London (I'm getting the money back from the others).
Absolutely shattered today as I got home at lunchtime just in time to get changed and head back in to work again. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Just logged in to the interwebby banking site to see that my ever lovely mummy has transferred the money for her show ticket and some extra Christmas money so have paid it all off the credit card as it roughly equalled the amount I'd spent on the show tickets in the first place (I owed my sister some money towards a joint pressie so she didn't need to pay me back).
After toting it up the weekend away cost me
£75 - Jersey Boys tickets
£10 - Oyster top up
£7 - wine, tissues and munchies at mini Mr T's near my sisters flat
Mum bought us lunch on Saturday and my Sisters lovely boss gave her some cash to get us cocktails before the show, so overall it was a lovely cheap weekend away. We didn't really have the time to go in to any of the tourist attractions so next time Mum comes down we want to try to do more of those which will mean spending some time searching out bogofs and ideally mystery shops as some are shopped very regularly.
Still waiting for my cheque to clear so I can pay off my OU spend and use the remainder to clear some more from the other card. But using the money I transfered out of paypal when it arrived I paid £14 off it which has met the min payment for the month. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Had a wander in to town to pay a cheque and some more of the bag of change from my sealed pot so the bank account is £60 happier, with another £2 of change to pay in at some point soon. Also been clearing out the store cupboard of out of date cokes, 200 odd coke zone points later I'm bored of typing the codes in to the website! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi Sunflower.
This morning I got a nice cheque in the post from mutualpoints so need a trip in to town to get it to the bank, but mainly today I am unbolting the shelves in the bathroom so I can put them in the car and move them when we go to get the keys this afternoon along with all the other stuff which we don't use in there (like the three boxes of toiletries I'm trying to work my way through). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Bathroom stuff is now in residence at the new house, tomorrows job is to move my entire wardrobe because I have a lovely big built in wardrobe to put all my clothes in to, which means I can then bin/freegle the hanging rails before we move the rest of our furniture.
As well as getting to the bank with the cheque, and the last two bags of change, doing three mystery shops and going on two short runs. I specify short as I didn't run today or yesterday so I want to make up for it, am thinking an early start doing an easy 2 mile run then doing a second shorter run in the evening.
The HMRC cheque was showing as cleared this evening so have moved the money in to the other bank account ready to be dispatched to pay off the OU credit card. Will resist the urge to pay the rest off the other card in favour of keeping the money there just in case we need it to pay bills during the overlap of the properties and then paying a nice big lump sum off when the deposit comes back from the flat.
In other less MSE news I went and got weighed this morning I've not lost 20lb since I started in mid April. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Half of my wardrobe has now been moved and is safely hung up in my wardrobe. Currently having a 'lunch' break before I go out to the bank and run number 1.
Altered my address with one of the mystery shopping companies last night and have already picked up two jobs based on my new address details - which naturally makes me rather happy as I have to pass both places when I'm transporting possessions over the next week or so before we hire a van and shift the big stuff. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
