Tesco - Denby plates only £1.25

I popped in to a Tesco homestore today and they had Denby 'everyday' dinner plates reduced to £1.25 each - I think they are normally at least £8. They are in a pretty two tone shade of blue called blueberry. It took about half an hour to try and find the price but it was worth it!

I can't find a picture online but on the Tesco website they have a set of four plates, four bowls and four side plates for £68.50.

It was in a Tesco homestore (my first visit!) but I would have thought it is definitely worth looking in larger stores eg Tesco Extra.

If anyone sees any bowls or side plates please let me know!

Looks pretty similar to my Denby and I am after a spare plate. Thanks for that.

The box sets of the cappucino colour are reduced to £34.00 atm, if that helps anyone.

Um - they don't make it easy do they?! I haven't helped either because I thought they were called Homestores but it looks as though they are called Homeplus - sorry!!

I couldn't find anything on the Tesco website but I have just come up with this link which might help. I don't know if this is all the stores - there are 12 listed
    http://opening-times.co.uk/groups/tesco-homeplus

Customer services might be able to tell you if there is anything close to you or if a local store might stock the plates.

Good luck - I hope you find some.

Sorry that was instore, although the individual pieces were still full price.

  • Just to add too, that they sell them in Tesco Extras, which is the one I use.
