Charlie Brooker - Aspirational TV

I'm so pleased this is on YouTube!! I think it's one of the best social comments there is on modern British culture and sensibilities, and undoubtedly one of the main reasons that so many people in this country are in significant amounts of debt. Aspirational television - buying in to the "glittering lifestyle" and one that very few can actually afford.
If you didn't catch Charlie Brooker's excellent Screen Wipe when it was first shown on BBC Four, here's your chance to watch this segment. It's superb and really highlights how corporations and the media exploit consumers by making you feel completely inadequate.
If you don't see this guff for what it is now, or find it hard to change your spending habits, hopefully you will after watching it. Enjoy
