80s fancy dress

Has anyone any idea what I could dress up a for a 80s style fancy dress party please cant afford to spend loads on hire etc but dont want to look too stupid any suggestions please.

    I did this a while ago and got all my stuff from primark so it might be worth looking there too. I got some bright pink leggings / footless tights, bright blue legwarmers, some big plastic jewelllery, sunglasses and a hairband with a big bow on. hope this helps.

    jeans, legwarmers, matching ruched boots, shirt and brooch, or thin tie. hair(preferably curly) tied back with lace bow or scarf. I was cutting edge!!

    shirt Primark £3
    iron on transfer sheet ebay 10 sheets £5 (you could buy less/maybe find cheaper )
    plaits (wool strands plaited with torn fabric: sewn onto a stretchy headband )
    hat lurking in fancy dress box ironed into shape ( flattened the top )
    waistcoat charity shop dress cut off the sleeves £3.50
    make up GO WILD

    I have black leggings, ravelled down long socks & plimsoles on.
