  • :wave:Hello, I tried this last month but in a sneaky not telling anyone kinda way. I managed 11 including today so I'll aim for 11 in September too please. I suprised myself by managing 11 so I think I'll try for that again and if I manage it I'll up it next month. 11 might be tough as I have a few work trips through airports and thus the lure of chocolate/magazines/nasty tea in wonky paper cups will be strong - I shall TRY to resist!

**** ponders about target, and ponders some more..... ****

    September has 30 days
Of those, I reckon 6 are D/Debit days - so max of 24 possible

Looking at 'non D/Debit regular spends' :-
Window cleaner already paid for September, so won't lose one to him :)
Dog not due his booster until early October, so safe from that one for another month :D
No birthdays, so only pressie buying would be if I see anything to put away for Dec (and as I'll only be in shops on days I'm already spending, this won't impact my NSD count) - though I do need an anniversary card for my parents, but I'll make that :)
Need more trousers for work - not best pleased about this though, as bought a size down on 7th Aug and already need the next size down to stop me wearing unintentional hipsters  - but will do this on a day that's already a spend day
No insurances due, and only car expense will be petrol - to be done on a spend day - [strike]probably[/strike] definitely tomorrow (I'm running on fumes more than I thought!) as that's my first D/Debit & milk day

So still looking at a max possibly of 24

Biiiiig gap between first 2 D/Debit days (1st & 10th) and DS doesn't move out until 12th - so best allow a couple of 'milk' days in here
Another big gap between later D/Debs (15th then 27th), so best leave myself a couple of days here as well I think

So that takes me down to 20

My average from 1st Jan to 31st Aug is 17.6, so best not set tooooo far above that.....

Spoon - can you please set my initial target to 18, which is one more than Augusts initial target with one less day to hit it in

and hopefully I can use the back-end of the month (12th onwards) to get a feel for how many 'extra' spend days I need once I've lost the milk monster ;)

  • Hi NSD peeps, and thanks Spoon for a lovely shiny new thread :D

I've decided to totally ignore the 2 weeks that I'm away and act like it doesn't exist as it'll be impossible not to spend each day

    *gets out calendar*

Can I have 10 as my target please?? Bit ambitious me thinks considering I'm only counting a fortnight, but I do likes a challenge!

I'll go for 16 again please Spoon, think most of the kitchen spending is over, so hopefully will be a bit easier this month!!!!
