    Hi everyone,

NSD for me yesterday, took lunch and chocolate to work with me.

Today I normally buy a paper for the job page, think I will just have to go to the supermarket and have a quick look at the paper instead, and walk straight back out.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Ok, going to take the plunge & join in. Put me down for 10 nsds please Spoon.:D:D

Hiya Swanny pet, nice to see that you have joined us all on here too - good luck with your NSD's

OK Spoony, reporting in with NSD NUMBER 2 - sorting boxes this morning then took them down to the car boot to put in the storage unit, got a few still in the car for selling tomorrow at car boot, and we now have a bedroom floor - I can walk from the door to the bed without completing an obstacle course :T :T We are getting there, slowly but surely - but I will have my house free of boxes and boxes and boxes one day

  • Hello & welcome to all the newbies!

Sorry i wasn't around yesterday, i was having a major sulk after finding out the kitchen has been delayed & won't be coming on Monday as promised
So i did the only thing i could do... went to the pub & had a little drink to forget

Back on track today, i did pay the man that came & drilled a large & difficult hole in my wall for the tumble dryer vent, but that money was in an envelope & didn't count, so that means.....

Number 1 today please Spoon, i am off the mark!!!! :j:j

I called "a man what does" to do mine after we moved in here.....

So my Dad went and got a super-long drill bit, then did the 70+ mile round trip to do it for me :D

and - just in case of any confusion - it was my Dad I called

    Good morning everyone!

Declaring #1 for yesterday, and Im going for #2 today. Was going to go food shopping but after a reccy of the cupboards have decided to postpone till tomorrow. Dont need anything - OH made a lovely chicken curry, so that's dinner sorted for tonight.
On a tight budget this week as it's OH's birthday next week. Although it's his 50th we've agreed on a small gift ( got him his fave aftershave on Cheapsmells) and I'm going to get a load of sweets for him as he's got a really sweet tooth. We're going for lunch on his birthday and having family round in the evening for cake and wine. ( I've got a Sainsbugs voucher for £4 off £20 spend which I'll use for that)
I'm determined not to dip into savings for any of this!

Today I'll just do a bit of tidying up and washing, then I'm off to the library to take my books back and pick up my next lot. Of course that's freeeeeeeeeeeeeee!;)

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)

One of our friends - also from north of the border makes yummy tablet....of course you have to have a Scottish connection to even know what that is :rotfl::rotfl:
never managed a NSD yesterday :( had to pick up a few bits and bobs from the shops, going to aim for a NSD today but (and its a big but!) i have to take the car to the garage to get a bit looked at - i got flashy lights coming on on the dashboard so im concerned that that means its going to be expensive!!

I have a wonderful local garage who have cleared several flashy lights from my car before foc - they said sometimes an accumiclation of small 'faults' which aren't really faults can build up and trigger a light. As an example, when they did my MOT and service the computer came up with 'Fault on Cruise Control' ...prob would be on my car...as it doesn't have crusie control :rotfl::rotfl: fingers crossed its nothing too serious.
