Do you use bronzer in autumn/winter

Hi, I am really liking the Avon arabian glow bronzer, just wondering if it will look OK used on its own in the colder months. Does anyone else use it all year round?

I'm using a Bourjois one atm and I will be using it throughout the year, maybe a bit less when its colder and more as a blusher than an all over bronzer, but then I'm the type who uses fake tan all year round too;)
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come
    Good luck for the future
  • As long as you use it carefully you should be able to wear bronzer all year round. I certainly do otherwise I look like one of the undead!
Always a good idea to try to find one without too much sparkle in it too. I used to use Guerlain all the time until I started stocking Fake Bake and I have to say their bronzer is fab!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi both, thanks for your replies, do you use it with foundation or on its own?
  • I use bronzer sparingly in winter - just on my nose, temples and cheekbones. Laura Geller bronze-n-brighten in the fair option and Bare Escentuals warmth are my favourites. I have red hair and am quite fair but as long as I don't overload the brush then it looks fine and at least makes me look healthy.

I apply over foundation then add a small amount of blusher on top of the bronzer.
  • Laura Gellar's bronzer is fabulous and I wouldn't be without it. I use it across the eyes as well - sparingly though. I use over Avons mineral foundation, which is the best I've found and I think I've tried them all.

If your skin is even toned you can use it on its own. If not, Boots No 7 Intelligent Colour foundation is utterly brilliant at evening it out. Apply bronzer sparingly over the top.
