I think if she hadn't passed comment on it I wouldn't be worrying so much. As I mentioned, I had braces as a youngster, and although my teeth were noticeably wonky particularly when I grinned, it never really actually bothered me terribly.
As also wearing the fixed braces - surprisingly as a very insecure person when I was at school, having braces didn't bother me one jot. I got the usual teasing but it was like water off a duck's back, I honestly used to find it almost funny that people seemed to think it would bother me!
DD1 knows I had braces, and of course with it being more commonplace now, I think it wouldn't be such a big deal - I suppose I just worry that she might worry, but I guess that's what mums do, worry:)Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63
