Calling all hairdressers please

Hi
I have been living abroad where getting my hair done was really really cheap...
BUT, instead of getting highlift tints like I had in England, I got highlights
The problem I have now is that my roots are growing thru (I am dark Blonde with the odd grey) and I really want to colour my hair myself to save money BUT I have had a few disasters in my time.
I want to dye my hair a similar colour to the natural one (dark blonde/v v light brown with natural sunny highlights)
Can anyone recommend a colour that won't make my hair blueish/khaki'ish or pinkish!!!

I'm not a hairdresser, but from what you have described, I think you may be asking a bit much from a home hair colour.
Maybe try the local college hairdressing department if money is a bit tight. Quite a few people recommend this & have had good results.0 -
