Can anyone tell me what advantages the Tomtom 500 has over the Tomtom One? They have the Tomtom 500 for £276 in Tesco's. or the Tomtom One with double points for £199. Any advice gratefully received!

As well as having a slightly bigger widescreen display, the 500 has major European roads as well and Bluetooth handsfree calling. The 510 that replaced the 500 also has iPod connectivity with touch screen controls.

Does the 500 not have touch screen controls? Does the Tomtom One have touch screen? The one we borrowed did, and it did make it easy to use. Thanks for your help.

Took a spin home last night in a cab which was using the One. Had what sounded like a poor impersonation of Ozzy giving the directions and though it was pretty poor it had me in a drunken fit of hysteria. Quite a cool feature and being told too "take the next f**k*ng left" by satnav will keep me smiling for weeks to come!
