judgment set aside and won case..is the CCJ gone?

i got a CCJ, but then had the judgment set aside, and the other party failed to show so I won by default...

does this mean the CCJ will be erased? as I havent done anything wrong

  • Hi, yes if the CCJ has been set aside you should have received notification from the Court? This means the original judgment is struck out as if it never happened. It's worth checking your credit reports though as if the CCJ is recorded it should now be removed entirely but sometimes this doesn't always happen in my experience. Also, please remember it doesn't stop the orginal party taking out a new court action against you.
