I thought I would share my little sisters fingerprint tree. I set it all up and painted the tree. I thought guest would really have to be bullied into doing it but they all loved doing it. I think it took them back to their childhoods - fingerpainting and all that!Melissa

That's fab, I'm making ours, but not sure what medium to use for the ink leaves to go on, as I have read you can prime canvas, but I need to find out more! I was wondering if a good quality water colour paper would be a better option.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

You can prime a canvas with white emulsion it will work fine
I am doing this I am so excited for inking the tree! Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!

I didn't prime the canvas ?!
I just mixed a watery white blue acyrlic and washed it over the whole canva first.
I will make sure they don't hang it on a sunny wall it case it fades.
