This site has been posted before. I signed up on a Project Management Course and couldn't believe how basic it was. I think if you really want to learn something you'd be best of paying a few bob elsewhere than using this site.0

With the amount of advertisements it seemed to take a very long time to get very little course content.
I also thought it had got into a very short loop within the two sections I tried to work through. I assumed it was short-circuiting and that it wasn't complete - especially as no "tick" appeared against the section when I had gone through all the pages that downloaded. Perhaps it was actually that not much information was to be provided.0 -

That's part of the point there's hardly anything to learn and what's there isn't exactly challenging.0 -

I thanked you for the reminder in one of the other threads you started on this the other day.
I first came across ALISON a couple or more years ago and looked at the IT courses then. I taught ICT and didn't do the courses myself or use their material for which there would be a charge if used in class (because I had already developed my own) but recall thinking they were quite good. It seems that this for-profit social enterprise may have attracted more advertising since then and that has had an effect on the "concentration" (for want of a better word) of the content. (I.e. learning material diluted by the amount of advertising.) On the other hand it may be that the IT courses don't have the same proportion of advertising as the Project Management one.0
