Best value sugar?

I hope this is the right place to put this question?

I'm planning on going blackberrying this weekend and am hoping to get enough to make jam out of them. Does anyone have any tips on the cheapest place to get granulated sugar?

Tesco/Asda/Aldi all have it at 68p for 1kg.

Thank you! I will toddle to Tesco if I get a good crop.

Any advance on this? Can buy in larger quantities if they're cheaper as I'm always making cakes and biscuits

I think you only need to use jam sugar if what you're jamming is low on pectin. Since other fruit (particularly apples) is high in pectin, I'll probably just mix some of those in.

66p/kg then from poundland and no need for lift. Yummy home made jam!
