If a pension is paid out quarterly, is it paid in arrears like a salary or in advance like an ( or some) annuity?

I would have thought in arrears but you would really need to clarify this with your pension provider to be sure.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

(State) Pension paid weekly is in advance; if paid four- or thirteen-weekly, then it’s in arrears.0

annuities can be paid in advance or arrears. You get to choose and the annuity rate reflects the choice.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
