It should work for any provider - but it's just a wireless router; there's no cable or adsl modem built into it.
I have the WGR614 & it's a nice piece of kit with good wireless signal throughout the house. You do need a cable or adsl modem with ethernet out though.EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!0 -
I just bought a Linksys wireless BB router (Wireless G with speedbooster - up to 108mbps) for 39.99 including free delivery from Amazon, specifically chosen because it's operating system is written in Linux, meaning it's code is Gnu so there are quite a few upgrades available independent of the manufacturer.
Also have a Kcorp Gold network card (wireless G) for £11.90 incl P&P.
http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZehatcan2005QQhtZ-1
Total £51.89
I only have 1mb BB, but it is future proof for a good while and the network card allows me the peace of mind that should I want to access a network away from home it will pull the fastest available.
Whilst it doesn't speed up mobile access it does mean that file sharing on the LAN is VERY quick.0
