How is it that the majority of these Geordie hating 'Makkems' seem to spend all of their hard earned cash on Tyneside (ala Metrocentre).

Probably because the TOWN of Sunderland (No Cathedral) is a dirty little dump!!!!

Metrocentre is in Gateshead, not Newcastle. Newcastle only exists on one side (the north) of the Tyne as it was felt it would be too complicated and dangerous for the occupants if they had to cross the river.

Next you'll be saying that Northumbria is part of Newcastle!!

For anyone that cares, the home shirt shouldn't be being replaced this season, only came out in September. They may have to midify it with numbers on the back or something though.

As for the away shirt, it will be replaced by a black shirt in summer BUT the white shirt will stay on as the 3rd kit.

Please read the post carefully. I said In 'TYNESIDE'.

GATESHEAD and NEWCASTLE are in TYNESIDE sharing the same postcode.

Saying that we also have the sorry misfortune to share the same postcode as Washington as well.
