Not sue how this compares with the clubcard points, but if you want instant saving but I went to Best Buy at Merry Hill today (think they have a few more stores dotted around the country!) and they have 20% off everything instore - except i-pads and i-phones. Bought a new i-pod touch 8gb for £111 and a new Nintendo DSi for £100. The offer ends tomorrow.
Proud to be dealing with my debts,

I am trying to work out if this is a good deal or if Tesco are getting a good price for old stock which will be a lot cheaper in a few days time.

Does anyone know how much the new Ipod touch will be? Are any improvements worth the extra price?

i'm thinking along the same lines as you. the announcement for the new ipod is tomorrow. the rumours are that it will have 2 cameras amongst others. however, they aren't physically selling it as yet so i think there will be a bit of a wait for prices to fall as retailers look to shift this version. saying that, i don't think prices will fall hugely. though, of course, you can't predict snap sales/sell offs in the current economic climate.

i think this is a great deal if you are going to use the points as rewards. as said earlier - nearly £93 in rewards and £6 quidco... roughly £51 for a 3g ipod touch? very good.

if you're only going to use points at face value it's more or less the same as the best buy deal, which was the best deal at time of writing that i could find for a new one (but now finished). that's a good retail price so it depends if you want to play the waiting game for price falls that may or may not happen!!
    not much help am i?!
