Being an executor in bankruptcy

I'll shortly be petitioning for bankruptcy. I'm an executor in my aunts will, Sadly she is not in good health.Am I still allowed to be an executor as a bankrupt.

    Yes and no.

    You can be the executor but you CANNOT get the grant of representation from the court in order to finalise/close accounts etc. so you will have to get a solicitor or someone to do this for you - not sure if you can get anyone else as they wont be the executor but a solictor certainly can.
