Overpaid in final salary payment

    I'd keep it, "lock" it away in an account somewhere with the knowledge that it's not your money yet and wait a good amount of time before you spend it.

    However, you don't say how much the over payment is. If it's only £10, I'd suggest it's not worth worrying about! :)

    it's definitely overtime since it shows the normal hr rate x 1.5. it also seems to be a duplicate from my last payslip in july.
    it's more than £100.
    i've emailed them, to which i think they'll probably won't reply and just take the money out. communication is poor with my old company.
    it is so tempting to keep it though.
