If so you could use that, probably would only be able to dry one thing at a time though, as it wouldn't take too much weight.
No its a sliding door thing0 -
Why not leave an additional clothes horse over/in the bath? (this is what my mum does and it works for her) just make sure with clothes horses that clothes do not touch each other and there is enough space for air to get around the clothes.
Just a question: on taking stuff out of the machine, does it smell bad then? If it doesn't then there must be a problem with your drying: make very sure clothes do not bunch up and are lied flat.
If clothes do smell bad on getting them from the machine then I'd get the machine checked and cleaned as you could have something like old food caught in it or some source of bacteria or mould growth.0 -

You could always buy some extendable net curtain rods, or just bungee cord and put across doorways, will cost a little, but may sort out your problem. I know the smell you mean, its horrid, so I understand you want to sort it out, there are all kinds of wonderful airers and clothes drying gadgets, but really depends on your finances. Failing that, you could wash all your denims in one go and take to laundrette and put in the dryer.

Do you have a linen cupboard or a cupboard with your hot water tank inside it? I have some slatted shelves in mine above the hot water tank and can hang about 4 items on hangers from the slatted shelves next to the tank. Even when the central heating isn't on there is heat in the cupboard and I find things dry very quickly.
It started with the odd "hand wash" only thing that I hung in there and has moved on now. I tend to wash little and often to make good use of it - certainly cost effective0
