co-op bank question

I recently opened a cashminder account and have transferred all payments to it.

I am due to get paid on Tuesday, but with the bank holiday on Monday, my payment has hit my RBS account (it was too late to change account details).

Normally with things like this, my child benefit too goes into my account but I had managed to change that to the co-op account.

What I am wanting to know is will it be in my co-op account on Tuesday as normal or are the co-op like the RBS and pay early due to bank holidays??

I have checked the co-op and there is nothing as yet.

  • I do know from previous experience, RBS WILL show any debits prior to weekend close, so if you have a DD on Monday, online you will see a minus on your account from Sat AM, but it does not clear until close business Monday so provided income goes in Monday as norm al, no overdraft/fees. This also applies when a bank holiday is in place.

I am not sure if this helps but it relates to what you are experiencing i think.
Marry a Foreigner, its so much cheaper!
