slow cookers are great. They were a life saver when I was teaching 2 nights a week.

Back home. Ex took Charlie out for his second walk. A cold and a few nice bruises coming up so feeling a bit sorry for myself so he took him out.

That's another thing I must learn how to use. I've had one for about 18 months now - a lovely big Ainsley Harriot one, but it's just gathering dust on top of my wardrobe.

Absolutely no idea why I wrote that....it's nowhere near my wardrobe lol. It's on top of the kitchen cupboard. Wine o'clock methinks :rotfl:

I love my slow cooker too, it's one of my most used gadgets.

DD2 was having a hormonal strop so I didn't trust her near a knife or cooker to make dinner....so muggins did it (but it was tasty).

Apples are cooked and dripping for the apple jelly so the house smells lovely.

Beannie - Love the stuff in that next link...some lovely stuff in there....we have a Next but I've never been in...I might have to go have a nosey.

Suzy - I *so* have the same "supermarkets eat my cash" problem. It is hard asd you can avoid going into clothes shops, for example, but you have to buy food :(
