Has anyone used a resourceful cook meal plan?

Just wondered if anyone had used one of the meal plans at resourcefulcook.com and if they work out okay? I found several I like and customised one and it seems like a brilliant way to control costs/know what you'll spend, but it's also quite a gamble to shop for a whole week's shopping based on a shopping list a website has created for you. Maybe someone can tell me if they work okay, other wise am going to print the shopping list and recipes out and cross check them (could take some time.) before doing the shop. Also are the recipes any good and also the portion sizes?
