Is MIcrosoft Money any good?

I've used Microsoft Money 2001 for several years and am feeling rather lost at the moment as our computer had a 'blip' and I cannot access the information. As the hard copy of money was from a previous computer, I have tried downloading the 2001 version but still cannot access the info. I feel as though I have lost an arm as I cannot read our historical financial info.
If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them!
