ccj

Hi,

I have a CCJ from may 2006 - unsatisfied.

My understanding is that it will drop off my credit file 6 years from being registered. Is this the case if I have not made any payments for it, or will it stay on my file for longer?

  • Ive answered this in the credit card forum it will be removed 6 years from when it was first registered i had the same issue myself,

  • Thank you New Age - however, I have been told that the creditor can reregister the ccj after 6 years if not satisfied?

They can, they don't very often, but they can.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

dont contact them and always avoid them, ure most likely in the FORGOTTEN LIST(stay that way) i can honestly say ive NEVER heard of someone havin the same ccj registered twice, MYSELF INCLUDED
