I had £170 left as i have been so good this month, when car tax reminder comes through the door, and then car breaks down costing me £70 to get fixed. Grrrrrrrr
Also a cheque I wrote for £100 hasnt been cashed yet - I sent it weeks ago and know it will go out just before pay day to push me over my overdraft.
Grrrrrr I was so pleased with myself for being so well behaved and would have just made it to the end of the month if the dam car hadnt died on me.
roll on pay day!

Know exactly how you feel. Same has happened to me,(Car needs repairs) however i'm fortunate enough to have just sold my other car so that will go towards it.
Good luck and keep fighting, hopefully next month you will have £170 again and this time have some fun with it.Debt free Nov 11 :j0 -
That happens to me every month.
I think ive done so well to get past the 7th of the month (this is when the last of my dd's goes) and ive still got some wages left. However, there is always something ive forgotten about n i end up in the same situation each and every month0 -

But just think loopyloulou... if you hadn't had such a good month, if you weren't so good and careful.... the car would still have broken down, it would still have needed fixing and you'd be even further into your overdraft. Give yourself a pat on the back for a good month :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... good point. if i had been pre-MSE i would have borrowed some £ off my boyf and then more off my parents on the never never, and carried on shopping! its all about damage limitation- it just seems there is always something - every month stopping me getting on track!0
